vs Friends

John Carroll swept Friends at home, 25-9, 25-12, 25-14, in a match the Patriots controlled from the opening serve. The serving was the story, and Nathan Magness was the author of it — he went a perfect 17-for-17 from the line with nine aces and a 3.35 serve rating, the finest serving night any Patriot has had this season. The team finished with 26 aces across the three sets and strung together six-point runs in each of the first two. The offense was efficient and the back court reliable behind it, with John Carroll conceding little all evening. Every player on the roster saw the floor, and Yool Kim impressed in some of his first varsity action of the season.
