vs Landon
W Sets 3-1
John Carroll beat Landon 3-1 at home, 25-13, 18-25, 25-15, 25-13, in a match where contributions came from up and down the roster. The Patriots opened in a 6-2 with Gregg Wisniewski running the offense, and he was outstanding — distributing the ball to a balanced attack and serving three aces on the night to help build a 25-13 opening set. Landon answered to take the second, but John Carroll responded by dominating the third and fourth behind sustained serving runs from Mason Proctor, who finished with nine aces of his own. The Patriots served 21 aces across the four sets and spread the attack evenly, with Jackson DeReamer, Peyton Williams and Sam Butler all reaching nine or more kills. Nathan Magness was busy all evening on both sides of the ball, strong defensively and as an attacker, and Julian Young was excellent at the net.
