  1. 🏐 3-3 In Conference Play - After a tough home matchup vs. a solid Gilman team, we bounced back to a 3-0 win over Friends on senior night where our seniors shined! Seniors Jack Grabowski, Matt Wilson, and Rob Gaines combined for 12 kills to pace our offense, and had extra support from Sam Butler & Jackson DeReamer. Jack Grabowski also had one of his best defensive games of the year, with 12 digs and a serve-receive rating of 2.0! Brendan Stewart stepped in as Libero, recording 8 digs on the match with great serve-receive, and was dominant serving with 2 aces. Next up we have a conference matchup with St. Paul's Wednesday, then a challenging match at Loyola Friday.

    2. Tuesday 10/7 - Practice (upper gym, 3:30)
    3. Wednesday 10/8 - Home vs. St. Paul's, JV 4:00, Varsity ~5:15
    4. Thursday 10/9 - Practice (lower gym, 3:30)
    5. Friday 10/10 - Away @ Loyola, JV 4:00, Varsity ~5:15
    6. Saturday 10/11 - Possible practice (~9am)

  3. 👕 Gear Order Arrived - Let me know if there was anything missing from your order. I know that some people noted the black sweatshirt was backordered for them - I will follow up with our apparel rep to see when/if those would be in.

  4. 🐔 Chic-Fil-A Spirit Night, 10/14 - Save the date for Chic-Fil-A spirit night fundraiser! You must place a mobile order for the Bel Air Chic-Fil-A between 4-8pm using code PATRIOTS (on the Community Cares screen) and part of the proceeds will come back to our program. Spread the word and plan to grab some dinner after practice 10/14!

  5. 🎉 End-Of-Season Save-The-Date 11/14 - Save the date for 11/14 where we will hold our year-end program celebration. More details to come!

  6. 🏐 Season Schedule - The game schedule can be seen at the jcvb-2025-schedule Spreadsheet, on my JCVB iCalendar, and via TeamSnap - I have loaded the full practice schedule in to the iCalendar, and I will be keeping it up to date as things change. Currently, I am keeping JV & Varsity together in one calendar.
