  1. 🏐 2-2 In Conference Play - MSJ and Curley both had some well played games to draw us to even in conference play. Despite the losses, we made some incredible hustle plays and got better as a team throughout the week. In conference play, Matt Wilson is averaging over 6 kills and 2 blocks, and Tyler Olivi is averaging nearly 2 aces and double-digit digs per match. We will look to keep improving and competing this upcoming week with a pair of home games vs. Gilman & Friends!

  2. 🗓️ This Week!

    1. Monday 9/29 - Practice (lower gym, 3:30pm), team dinner to follow (thank you team parents!)
    2. Tuesday 9/30 - Home vs. Gilman, JV 4:00, Varsity ~5:15
    3. Wednesday 10/1 - Practice (upper gym, 3:30)
    4. Thursday 10/2 - Practice (upper gym, 3:30)
    5. Friday 10/3 - Senior Night, Home vs. Friends, no JV, Varsity 4:30, reception to follow

  3. 📆 Senior Night This Friday - 10/3 - Senior Night is this Friday, 10/3 (home game vs. Friends). Note that the game is scheduled for 4:30PM - so plan to be in the gym by 4:15 for recognition of our seniors. We will have a brief reception for desserts & snacks before the homecoming football game!

  4. 👕 Gear Order Arriving This Week - I got word the gear would be arriving Monday or Tuesday. Apologies for the delayed delivery from the original anticipated date!

  5. 🐔 Chic-Fil-A Spirit Night, 10/14 - Save the date for Chic-Fil-A spirit night fundraiser! You must place a mobile order for the Bel Air Chic-Fil-A between 4-8pm using code PATRIOTS (on the Community Cares screen) and part of the proceeds will come back to our program. Spread the word and plan to grab some dinner after practice 10/14!

  6. 🏐 Season Schedule - The game schedule can be seen at the jcvb-2025-schedule Spreadsheet, on my JCVB iCalendar, and via TeamSnap - I have loaded the full practice schedule in to the iCalendar, and I will be keeping it up to date as things change. Currently, I am keeping JV & Varsity together in one calendar.
