  1. ✴️ TeamSnap - TeamSnap is now set up! All players have been invited via their jcpatriot.org email address - from the app players are able to invite their parents. Coaches will use this for more specific communications with the team. Parents may also use this for reaching coaches and sending us record of who you will be taking home when they are not returning on the bus. Again, do not hesitate to reach out to me if you notice anything is inconsistent between TeamSnap and the iCalendar/Spreadsheet schedule-wise!

  2. 🗓️ This Week!

    1. Monday 8/25 - First scrimmage! Home vs. Harford Tech, JV at 4p.m., Varsity to follow. JV players should plan to be in the gym by 3:15p.m., and varsity players should arrive by 4:15pm to support JV.
    2. Tuesday 8/26 - Practice in Upper Gym 3:30pm
    3. Wednesday 8/27 - Scrimmage @ Bel Air - JV at 3:30pm, Varsity to follow - bus departs the school at 2:15pm
    4. Thursday 8/28 - Scrimmage @ C. Milton Wright - JV at 3:30pm, Varsity to follow - bus departs the school at 2:15pm
    5. Friday 8/29 - Practice in Upper Gym 3:30pm

  3. 📋 Game Assignments - See the attached file for the schedule of game assignments - where JV players will work the varsity game (scorebook and line-judges) and vise-versa with the varsity players for JV games. If you are working a JV game, you should arrive 30 minutes before the JV scheduled start time. We will work in "crews", and you can decide amongst your crew who has what responsibility for each game. If you cannot make one of your assignments, you must find someone to cover for you and swap.

  4. 📆 Schedule Updates

    1. Senior Night - 10/27 - We will do senior night 10/27 after all! Save the date for senior night 10/27! Note that the game is scheduled for 4:30PM - so plan to be to the school for the recognition of our seniors well before game time!
    2. There are a few other scrimmages / schedule-items in the works. One will be a split-squad informal joint-practice at Gilman as a makeup of our cancellation from last week. I will provide updates as details are finalized!

  5. 🏐 Season Schedule - The game schedule can be seen at the jcvb-2025-schedule Spreadsheet, on my JCVB iCalendar, and via TeamSnap - I have loaded the full practice schedule in to the iCalendar, and I will be keeping it up to date as things change. Currently, I am keeping JV & Varsity together in one calendar.
