1. 🏆 MIAA Championship Week! - Both JV and Varsity finished the regular season strong. JV has secured their place in the championship game and will be traveling to Boy's Latin on Tuesday (11/4) to compete for the JV Championship - game time 4:30pm! Varsity got the victory at Friends on Wednesday on the heels of great defense from Tyler Olivi & Brendan Stewart, and great offensive power from all hitters. We now will host the conference semi-final matchup Wednesday (11/5) against Curley - come cheer on the Patriots as they compete to make their way to the championship matchup Friday (11/7)!

2. 🗓️ This Week

   1. Monday 11/3
      • Practice, 3:30pm, Upper Gym
   2. Tuesday 11/4
      • 🏆 JV Championship @ BL (depart JC 2:00), game time 4:30pm
      • V practice TBD - currently scheduled for 6pm after the JV game
   3. Wednesday 11/5
      • 🏐 MIAA Semi-Finals vs. Curley, 5:30pm
      • Big home matchup - come support and get that home-field advantage working for us!
   4. Thursday 11/6
      • Practice 3:30pm, Upper Gym
   5. Friday 11/7
      • 🏆 Varsity Finals at MSJ!
      • If we win the semi-final matchup vs. Curley, the championship will be 5pm at Mt. St. Joseph!
      • The winner of our semi-final matchup will play the winner of St. Paul and Boy's Latin

3. 🎉 End-Of-Season Celebration - 11/14 - All players and their families are invited to join us on 11/14 for the end-of-season celebration where we will recap the season, announce some accolades, honor our seniors, and hopefully celebrate a successful postseason! Looking forward to see many of you there. Check the communications from Natalie Grabowski for RSVPs and other coordination. Thank you all for the support throughout the year!

4. 🎃 "Coaches" Win Halloween Tournament - The "Coaches" (Sam Butler, Jackson DeReamer, Leo Krimsky, and Yool Kim) emerged the winners of our Halloween tournament, dressed up (quite accurately) as each of our coaches. We had a fun day with lots of competition - each team made their way to the king court at least once and matched up with nearly every team. The king-of-the-court champion, with the most victories on the king court, goes to the all-sophomore "Tea Turtles" squad of EJ Papaleo, Matthew Gostomski, Nathan Magness, and Peyton Williams - dressed up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

5. 🏐 Season Schedule - The game schedule can be seen at the jcvb-2025-schedule Spreadsheet, on my JCVB iCalendar, and via TeamSnap - I have loaded the full practice schedule in to the iCalendar, and I will be keeping it up to date as things change. Currently, I am keeping JV & Varsity together in one calendar.
