  1. 🏐 Conference Regular Season Underway - Our regular season conference games are officially underway! We are off to a good 1-0 start with a solid 3-0 victory at St. Paul's last week. Peyton Williams & Jack Grabowski paced the offense with several key kills; Matt Wilson & Jackson DeReamer secured the middle with key blocks and kills, and we had strong defensive support from Tyler Olivi and Brendan Stewart. Next week we have a key matchup in the B conference with Boys Latin!

  2. 🚌 Bus Policy - Remember, if you are not taking the bus home from an away game then the coach who is in charge must have record (from a parent) that the student will not be taking the bus. This can be a TeamSnap message, an email, or a signature on the sign-out sheet. Either myself or Coach Tony will be in charge for each bus trip - let us know if you have any questions.

  3. 🗓️ This Week!

    1. Monday 9/15 - Practice in the Upper Gym 3:30pm
    2. Tuesday 9/16 - Home vs. Boys Latin - JV 4:00, Varsity ~5:30
    3. Wednesday 9/17 - Practice in Lower Gym 3:30pm
    4. Thursday 9/18 - Practice in Upper Gym 3:30pm, Team Dinner in cafeteria afterwards!
    5. Friday 9/19 - Practice in Lower Gym 3:30pm

  4. 📋 Looking for a Manager - Still looking for a manager to help us out! This will go on a transcript and would help improve our gameday operations, plus lessen the burden of players to work the games. Players - please reach out to anyone who may be interested!

  5. 📆 Senior Night - 10/3 - Save the date for Senior Night on 10/3 (Friday night home game vs. Friends). Note that the game is scheduled for 4:30PM - so plan to be to the school for the recognition of our seniors well before game time! We will have a brief reception for desserts & snacks before the homecoming football game.

  6. 🏐 Season Schedule - The game schedule can be seen at the jcvb-2025-schedule Spreadsheet, on my JCVB iCalendar, and via TeamSnap - I have loaded the full practice schedule in to the iCalendar, and I will be keeping it up to date as things change. Currently, I am keeping JV & Varsity together in one calendar.
